Creekside Cottage

The entire home is available for your use and is situated at the end of the neighborhood, which creates a relaxing environment.

A unique feature to the home are the TNR (trap-neuter-release) cats that will come onto the property and are being fed by volunteers by the creek. These cats belong to the entire neighborhood but they love to lounge around the driveway and porch. They are not used to being petted but they are harmless and crave human love and affection. If you see a furry feline with a clipped ear walking around, it simply means that he/she has been fixed and is an outdoor cat. Please make sure that you are okay with this before booking.

Access: Keyless Entry.
The home is equipped with a smart lock. You will be given a 4 digit code to access the home on the day of your arrival.

TV: There is a 50″ Roku TV in the Living Room with guest access for your personal streaming apps. A 40″ Roku TV is located in the Sunroom/Entertainment Room with guest access as well. No cable service is provided. No TVs in rooms.

Kitchen Items: Oven, Gas Stove, Refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig Coffee maker, toaster, blender, rice cooker, Brita water filter in Refrigerator. Well equipped with cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc. Full range of spices is also included, along with Olive & Vegetable Oil.

Mattresses: All Mattresses used for the beds are Hybrid (foam & springs) mattresses. The Main room features a Queen Bed & has an additional memory foam pad topper, for additional comfort. The “Bunk Room” features a full size bunk bed. All sleeping pillows are covered with hypoallergenic pillow protectors for your health and safety. A Sleeper sofa is located in the living room.

Towels: Everyday millions of gallons of water are used to wash towels that have only been used once. I provide guests with 2 bath towels each, although there are additional towels in the closets, I encourage you to reuse your towels. Hand towels, washcloths, kitchen rags, dish rags are also included.

Laundering: You will have access to a washing machine and dryer for your use with liquid detergent, baby detergent & clothes softener included.

Baby Gear: A Portable crib for infants and toddlers is stationed in the main room closet and can be rolled anywhere you need it. A high chair is also located in the Main Room closet for your children’s use.

Toiletries: Include (1) Regular size Dove Body Wash (1) Regular Dove Shampoo (1) Regular Dove Conditioner (1) Regular size Aveeno Moisturizing Lotion (1) Hand Soap & Hand Sanitizer. Single use toiletries are not provided.

Bathroom: A Hairdryer, Hair Straightener, make up mirror, make up washcloths and a First Aid Kit is located in the Sink Vanity.

A Red Wagon is located on the front porch, for your use.

Entertainment: A Foosball table is located in the Sunroom. Board games, puzzles, toddler blocks, toddler puzzles and card games are available for the entire family.

BBQ Grill: A Charcoal grill is ready for your grilling pleasure. Charcoal will not be provided since everyone’s taste preference is different.

Entire residence

You will enjoy complete privacy in this home but I will always be a text/call away to answer any questions.

The property: Sits beside a cute small creek that runs alongside the home and is accessible for wading but watch your steps as you get into it, as there are no steps. Also, keep in mind that Georgia has lots of critters, especially mosquitos. Bug spray is provided during your stay.

Full disclosure: This home is near nature, wooded areas and water so it is common to see deer, raccoons, foxes, opossums, and other critters around, such as spiders, frogs, bugs, etc. I maintain the property treated for pests on a regular basis but nothing is 100% guaranteed bug free.

As mentioned above, there are cats on the property and they have been prone to bringing “gifts” into the porch area. I’m unable to prevent this from occurring since that is in their nature to do so. If you happen to bond with any of them and are interested in rehoming one, please reach out to me for adoption details.

*Check out is at 11am – This home is professionally cleaned after each guest leaves so please be courteous of your departure time as it may affect the next guest.
