The center is a beautiful, 44,000 square foot facility located minutes from I-75 at the corner of Cherokee Street and Logan Road (4361 Cherokee Street, Acworth, GA 30101). Included in the facility are two high school regulation basketball courts, which are also painted for volleyball and pickleball; a multi-purpose classroom, group exercise room, and banquet hall. Along with programming in the areas of instructional classes, events, athletics, camps, active adult programs, fitness, and therapeutic recreation, the facility will include several rental options for both small and large scale events and opportunities for open play and free use of the walking track during normal operating hours. Normal operating hours are Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The Acworth Community Center is open for restricted activities. Pickleball, small group basketball, and walking track are now offered in scheduled times during operation hours. To reserve a time period call Acworth Parks, Recreation, and Community Resources at 770-917-1234.
