People relax on a sandy beach with towels, umbrellas, and floats while others swim in a lake bordered by trees under a blue sky.

Summer is right around the corner, and that means it’s beach season in Acworth!

Nestled along the beautiful banks of Lake Allatoona, Dallas Landing and Proctor Landing Parks are the hidden gems of the city the locals don’t want you to know about! With designated swimming areas, sandy beaches, outdoor volleyball courts, and trails, these 82-acre parks will have your entire family ready to splash into summer. Both parks offer group-sized pavilions available to rent, as well as a variety of picnic tables and grills scattered throughout the large parks and under the shade of Georgia pines!

On top of the many recreational activities, both parks provide ample parking, trashcans throughout, and large restrooms conveniently located near the beach. This maintains cleanliness and convenience that can’t be beat. And if the hot Georgia sun is getting you down, both parks allow beach umbrellas and pop-up tents, so you don’t have to worry about baking as you relax by the water or enjoy a good burger at one of the many picnic tables!

Whether you’re looking to unwind and recharge, have a high-energy day of fun with the kids, or spend some quality time with friends and family, these parks won’t disappoint. Located just minutes from Downtown Acworth, you’ll also have a variety of lunch and dinner options after your long day of fun in the sun!

Both Dallas Landing and Proctor Landing Parks have a $15.00 daily parking fee from April 12 – September 7. Payments can be made onsite by credit card only.
