WHAT IS THAT!? A car… or a sleigh? It’s a stampede of holiday golf carts gliding down Main! Come visit Acworth Wednesday, December 18 for our annual Light Up Main Golf Cart Parade! It will be an evening of Christmas fun as our residents decorate their carts in garland, lights, tinsel, and more. Don’t miss the chance to see the carts zoom through Acworth neighborhoods and historic downtown during this special tradition!

Acworth welcomes you and your family to Doyal Hill Park for this year’s 12th Annual Menorah Lighting Ceremony on December 30! This ceremony honors Chanuka, a Jewish holiday commemorating the Jewish Maccabees’ military victory against Syrian Greek oppression over 2,000 years ago. Please join us in celebrating this festival of lights as Rabbi Zalman Charytan will officiate the lighting with Mayor Tommy Allegood.
