Calling all plant witches, spooky souls, and lovers of the strange… Join Gather and Bloom on Thursday, September 17th from 7-9pm for Savage Garden: A Carnivorous Plant Workshop! Kick off spooky season by creating your own delightfully deadly tabletop bog garden. You’ll pot up a wicked macabre collection of Venus flytraps, pitcher plants, and sundews into a hauntingly beautiful bug-eating oasis, then deck it out with Halloween décor worthy of your favorite haunted house.
Along the way, you’ll learn how to keep your carnivorous plants happy (and well-fed… don’t worry, they prefer flies over fingers), design a thriving miniature bog garden, and leave with a one-of-a-kind creation that’s equal parts eerie and enchanting. The best part? These fascinating plants are surprisingly low maintenance, are meant to live outdoors, and many are native to the Southeastern United States, making them a fun and unique addition to your porch, patio, or garden.
They’ll provide a collection of plants, containers, décor, and light refreshments—you just bring your coven… or come make some new ghoul-friends. Additional carnivorous plants will be available for purchase if you’d like to make your savage garden even bigger and badder.
No green thumb required. Just a love for all things creepy, cozy, and a little bit savage! Space is limited. Reserve your spot today!
