2026 Cobb EMC Foundation Horizon Ability Gala

The Special Needs Development Group invites you to an unforgettable evening at the 2026 Cobb EMC Foundation Horizon Ability Gala, held on Friday, March 20 at the Tanyard Creek Overlook at Acworth Community Center.  Experience a night of culinary delights, live entrainment, dancing and a silent action—all for a remarkable cause. Proceeds directly benefit the Horizon League, helping us keep registration fees affordable and continue delivering high-quality programs for children and adults with special needs.

Since 2007, the Special Needs Development Group has empowered individuals with physical, social, and cognitive disabilities by offering athletic, social, and cultural programs. Thanks to community support, we’ve served over 500 participants and raised more than $300,000, which has fueled our growth and deepened our impact. By attending or donating to the Gala’s auction, you’ll support programs that improve the quality of life for our athletes, from funding adaptive equipment and quality uniforms to expanding program offerings. This elegant evening is not only a fundraiser but also an awareness event for our mission and the incredible athletes we serve. Cocktail attire is required.
