Threads of Freedom Parade

PARADE WEATHER UPDATE: The City of Acworth has been closely monitoring the weather as we head into the weekend. Unfortunately, the weather is not on our side, and for the safety of all involved, the Threads of Freedom Parade has been canceled. Thank you for your support and understanding.

In honor of America’s 250th birthday, the City of Acworth is excited to announce the Threads of Freedom Parade to be held on Saturday, September 12 at 10:00 a.m.

The parade will run along Historic Main Street with a start at the First Baptist Church before finishing at the Holbrook. Residents, families, businesses, and organizations will be invited to register to participate in the parade. Registered parties can use any street-legal vehicle they choose (PTV, truck/trailer, car, etc.). Happy Birthday, America!
