What inspired you to make Pearl’s Spa your own?
“I was a client from the very beginning,” Susan says. “I worked in a high‑stress corporate environment, and Pearl’s was my place to escape and breathe, if only for an hour once a month.”
When she had the opportunity to become the new owner of the spa, it felt meant to be. “I wanted to give that same feeling to others who need a place to relax and call their own.”

"There's a true family feel here," she says. "Acworth is part of greater Atlanta, but it has this incredible sense of community — people genuinely support you and want to see you succeed. I don't know many other communities that can say that"

When Susan isn’t helping guests relax, she’s doing what locals do best — showing up for Acworth.
“I love shopping at our boutiques, eating at our amazing restaurants, and spending time at NorthStar Church, where I’ve attended for over 24 years,” she shares.
Susan’s kids are also Allatoona High School graduates, where she continues to be involved and show her support, and the family has proudly called Acworth home since 1999. “We love it here and want others to love it as much as we do!”
